A lot of information about the schools was duplicated: on the website, in the school guide and in other documents. Managing the school guides needed to improve. At the same time the group had to be recognisable as one organisation, while every school wants to keep its own identity.

We started with the structure: which information belongs to the umbrella organisation, which belongs to a school, and what is currently duplicated? Based on that we put everything in one Statamic environment, where the umbrella organisation and each school have their own section. In the design every school gets its own colour within one house style. You see straight away which school you are looking at, and still notice that it all belongs together.

The school guides now live in the CMS instead of in separate documents, and older guides remain available in a separate archive. During the switch we redirected the old links to the new structure, so visitors and Google lose nothing. Everything was tested before going live.

The umbrella organisation and the schools are now managed from one place, and information no longer has to be kept up to date in several places.

The vacancies page in particular is easy to find, and the site works just as well on a phone or tablet as on a computer.
